Illustration 36

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has been around for many years, but it has only been recently that leading organizations have truly been measuring supplier performance in this area. This includes an assessment of supplier practices within the sourcing process, such as using sustainability and diversity as a part of RFP selection criteria. Measuring performance after contract award is also occurring with some using third-party assessments that offer a scorecard to suppliers in the area of CSR.

This session will take a look at trends in this area, as well as leading practices from organizations around the world.
